Christmas is fast approaching and with 2022 just around the corner, we wondered what would be on your compliance wish list to Santa- something similar to this?

Dear Santa
I know the holiday season is your busiest time of year
So I’ve made a list to assist you with the hope that it’s clear
We’ve been a good firm and worked hard for our clients
But we really need help with our risk and compliance
There’s COVID and working from home supervision,
It really has become such a huge mission
With PII, AML and cyber too
Our COLP is having sleepless nights, there is so much to do
So here is our wish list for a stress free new year,
For to be organised and compliant will bring us great cheer:
1. A risk and compliance healthcheck
2. An independent AML audit
3. Outsourced support for our COLP, COFA and MLRO throughout the year
It’s only a short list, for lots more we could ask
For risk and compliance in 2022 will be an onerous task!

There’s no need to ask Santa - Compli can make your wishes come true!

Compli at Weightmans specialises in providing law firms with bespoke solutions for a whole range of regulatory and compliance issues – from COLP, COFA and MLRO/MLCO support, independent auditing, M&A/orderly closure advice, complaint handling, risk management and training.
