It’s that time again!

Why don’t you spend your bank holiday weekend at the Manchester flower festival from Friday 26 – Monday 29 May 2023.

The Manchester Flower Festival is a fantastic way to celebrate the start of summer and see Manchester in a different way. It’s free and open to everyone!

The flower festival celebrates diversity and the creativity of florists and gardeners.  Showcasing the talent of different artists with floral arrangements, plants, landscapes, and passion gardening or just love nature. It’s also a great opportunity to explore Manchester's culture. It holds a lot of history, and you can see Manchester’s vision through flowers.

See the festival zone across the city centre where you will be able to walk around and see all the displays in shops windows and gardens. You can download the map here!

The Floral Marquee and fringe displays are where you can admire the stunning exhibitions of all the different flowers, plants and more. You can also buy plants and seeds from expert growers and get tips on how to care for them. This is a must-see for any flower lover!

The festival will offer opportunities to part take in various activities such as learning to get crafty with workshops, food stalls, live music, fun competitions, and entertainment for all ages. Find out more here.

Are you involved in the recruitment, training or supervision of trainees or newly qualified lawyers? Are you considering Legal Apprenticeships or any routes to law other than the LPC?

If yes to these questions please join us on 29th June where BPP University and firms from the North West will discuss their approach to the SQE.

We will discuss how they are managing the mix of LPC and SQE candidates, are they funding SQE1 and / or SQE 2, if they have embarked on recruiting Legal Apprentices.

The speakers and panel will address the challenges and opportunities presented by the new regime and attendees will be able to reflect upon what is right for their firm.
