It’s that time of the year where we take the opportunity to reflect on the year that was.
It’s hard to believe that 2022 is already coming to a close. It’s true what they say - “time flies when you’re having fun” and fortunately here at MLS, we are passionate about what we do and what we can achieve with hard work. We are constantly innovating; finding ways to improve our existing offering, while creating new solutions to meet our members evolving needs, and to ensure we remain at the forefront.
While we look forward to a well-earned rest during the upcoming holiday season, celebrating and relaxing with family and friends, we can reflect on a year of continuing change and growth.
This year has been a busy one, with us all getting used to hybrid working, and saw the delivery of some exciting, cutting-edge projects including our Future Stars Programme, our Greater Manchester Pro Bono Steering Committee and Forum, our Manchester Law Society Ambassador Programme and our new publisher for the revamped Messenger magazine.
Although there have been many significant achievements over the past year one of the biggest was our first in person Manchester Legal Awards for three years, where 650 people celebrated the successes of our wonderful legal community. The Manchester Legal Profession certainly knows how to party!
We are now just weeks out from 2023 and myself and the team are excited about everything the coming year has in store.
On behalf of myself and all of the team at MLS, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our members, Advantage MLS partners, sponsors and colleagues for their continuous support and inspiring work during the year. One thing is for certain, and that is that none of our successes would be possible without the support and trust that you place in us. It rests with me then to thank you from the bottom of our hearts and to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
